DRAFTING

Drafting is the art of taking a paper copy of older documents and transferring them to an electronic file. Original construction blueprints that were either done by hand or have no accessible electronic file need to be converted to an electronic format to begin. Renovations, remodels and reconstruction all require accurate electronic, working files that can be developed to display the planned work.

If a building has undergone alterations since original floor plans were created, the team updates or recreates the file to accurately represent the current structure. If required, the team can also update or create egress plans for emergency evacuations with the electronic floor plan created.
