MEASURED DRAWINGS

The Scott Design team specializes in measured drawings and has a wealth of experience in drawings for commercial spaces ranging from medical buildings, office spaces, restaurants and more.

The team first takes detailed measurements of the components and features of the space, as well as documenting it photographically. The measurements are then used to create an AutoCad drawing accurately sized to scale. A standard drawing includes representation of the following components:

Room Numbers or Names

Roof and transitions

More detailed drawings, including a reflective ceiling plan, can be arranged upon request. If additional material requires representation in the drawings, this should be discussed with the Scott Design team. We are happy to accommodate individual requests and map out the scope of work required.

Measured drawings are the most basic step in forming a master plan. The team’s background in historic conversation and construction provides insight into any abnormalities or irregularities that a structure may have and allows it to be properly addressed.
