DRAFTING

Drafting is the art of taking a paper copy of older documents and transferring them to an electronic file. Original construction blueprints that were either done by hand or have no accessible electronic file need to be converted to an electronic format to begin.

Renovations, remodels and reconstruction all require accurate electronic, working files that can be developed to display the planned work. Obtaining permits for potential work requires the files to represent the current state of the building including any alterations that have occurred since the original floor plans were created.
